One of the premiere preaching conferences in the United States is the Festival of Homiletics. Many CBF pastors find this conference to be the well from which they draw sermonic living water throughout the year.
This year's conference speakers include William Willimon, Thomas Long, Brad Braxton, Amy Jill Levine, Jim Wallis, Craig Barnes, and many more.
CBFNC will again sponsor a group "road trip" to the festival. The first 14 persons to register through CBNFC will receive:
- a reduced registration fee ($185 as opposed to $250),
- free transportation from Winston-Salem or Charlotte,
- and a hotel room rate of $240/person for four nights (plus tax, based on double occupancy).
- Everyone is on their own for meals.
