We have 3 mission projects lined up for Saturday afternoon. We will be dividing into groups on Friday night to determine which project each youth will be working on.
* Prodigals Ministry - We will be doing some yard work on some land they have just purchased. Tools will be provided but youth need to bring gloves.
* Homeless Block Party - We're going to invite some of the homeless from Winston-Salem into the Gym at FBC for an afternoon of fun. We'll play basketball, bingo, and other games and have refreshments as well. The youth involved in this project will be playing alongside of the homeless.
* Servant Evangelism - We're going to pass out baked goods to different places that serve our community. We will need each youth group to bring 1-2 dozen baked goods for every 3 students. (If you have 12 students bring at least 4 dozen items.) The best items are brownies, cookies or rice krispy treats. Please be sure to wrap each brownie or cookie individually so we combine them into bags at the retreat.

Merriwood Christian Camp, Clemmons, NC
We're asking each group to bring some refreshments for our time at the camp on Friday & Saturday evening.
Bible Study Option
If you would like to do a Bible study on being Baptist before the retreat (recommended), we have a great FREE resource for you - a four session series titled Free and Faithful, written by youth minister Elizabeth Edwards (Lakeside BC, Rocky Mount). We suggest doing at least the first two lessons before coming, though this is not required. Doing all four would be even better!
