Local Mission Engagement Grant

CBFNC has sponsored Mission Initiative Weekends for the last four years. They were well attended, rewarding and effective in teaching churches how to minister in their own communities.

Recently, more and more churches are sponsoring mission initiatives like Operation Inasmuch in their own city, with fewer churches and individuals traveling to CBFNC-sponsored regional events. Working in our own communities and neighborhoods is a key ingredient of the missional church.

To support and encourage this shift, churches may request funding through CBFNC’s new Local Mission Engagement Grant. Find the application here.

Deadline for all grant applications:  July 31, 2012

 Addressing Poverty
in Our Own Backyard

"Come over here and help us." Acts 16:9

Pockets of intense poverty exist all across our state. As members of the Body of Christ, CBFNC Christians are responding to this reality in many ways. You are invited, along with your family or a group from your church, to share the riches of Christ's love, presence, and compassion in one such area of need.
